Nikin becomes partner of Ambri-Piotta Hockey Club

Lenzburg AG/Ambri TI – The sustainable clothing brand Nikin has agreed a partnership with the Ambri-Piotta Hockey Club for the next three seasons. Together they want to design products that are available in the Gottardo Arena store as well as online.

The Nikin clothing brand, known for its tree planting campaign, is teaming up with the Ambri ice hockey club. According to a media release from Hockey Club Ambri-Piotta(HCAP) and Nikin on LinkedIn, the partnership will span the next three seasons. Nikin advertises with the promise to plant a tree for every product sold. So far, more than 2.1 million trees have been planted worldwide, according to the website of the Lenzburg-based company, which was founded in 2016.

Nikin positions itself as a family-run, down-to-earth company that is committed to nature, according to the club’s website. HCAP fully supports these values and shares Nikin’s vision of a future focused on sustainability and environmental friendliness, he said. Both are convinced that as partners they will be able to raise their profile in Switzerland.

According to the media release, Nikin, a company specializing in leisure fashion, and HCAP plan to jointly design products that will be available both in the Gottardo Arena store and online.

The Gottardo Arena of HCAP is a stadium designed by the famous architect Mario Botta. The multifunctional stadium, located on Ambri’s airfield, is a year-round multi-purpose facility for the team and the valley.
