Dietikon ZH – emost AG has been accepted into the guarantee program of the Swiss Technology Fund. The federal fund guarantees loans for companies whose products enable a reduction in CO2 emissions.
emost AG, which specializes in mobile battery storage, has been accepted into the Swiss Technology Fund ‘s guarantee program, according to a media release. The Swiss Technology Fund is located at the Federal Office for the Environment(FOEN), Climate Division, and supports innovative companies that develop pioneering technologies to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to the promotion of the Swiss economy.
emost AG is a provider of mobile battery storage systems, which are used in particular in the construction, event and film industries “This recognition shows that our commitment to economically and ecologically sensible alternatives to diesel generators is recognized and appreciated,” Benedikt Domke, CEO of Dietikon-based emost AG, is quoted as saying. “With the support of the Technology Fund, we will be able to accelerate our scaling in addition to our research and development and expand our Europe-wide distribution network for mobile energy storage for the construction, event, and film industries,” Domke added. “By directly replacing diesel generators, emost’s products save large amounts of the greenhouse gas CO2,” Simone Riedel Riley, director of the Technology Fund office, is quoted as saying.
emost AG was created from Axpo. A team from Axpo had spent several years developing a battery-powered generator for construction sites. The technology was sold in November 2022 to a consortium of management and entrepreneurs that formed emost AG, according to a release. ce/gba
