Landquart GR/Schaan – The Green Mountain offers its products at the Open Air Festival in Wacken. The vegan meat alternatives of the Grisons-based young company of the Liechtenstein Hilcona AG should also inspire the meat-loving festival-goers.
The Green Mountain will take part in this year’s Open Air in Wacken. The Grisons-based start-up, which is part of Liechtenstein-based Hilcona AG, “deliberately secured one of the top spots” for its food truck, writes The Green Mountain in a statement. Here, the company also wants to inspire meat-loving heavy metal fans with its plant-based products.
Festival-goers can choose from a variety of freshly prepared vegan treats. For burger fans, The Green Mountain has its Buger Patty with braised onions, fresh lettuce and BBQ sauce sandwiched between two black burger buns. But the menu also includes a chunks bowl with chunks on rice and ratatouille vegetables, scallions and pumpkin seeds. It’s designed for those “looking for some vitamins and healthy protein at the festival, too,” writes The Green Mountain. ce/hs
