Swiss Mobile Service takes over mobile klinik

Dübendorf/Dietlikon ZH – Swiss Mobile Service is acquiring mobile klinik, Switzerland’s largest provider of smartphone repairs, including its Fix Repair and Handy Doktor brands. The brands will remain. The company’s offer is now aimed at private customers and companies.

Swiss Mobile from Dübendorf becomes the largest provider of cell phone and tablet repairs: The Dübendorf-based company has acquired the previous industry leader mobile klinik, including its Fix Repair and Handy Doktor brands. Swiss Mobile now has 32 locations throughout Switzerland and a workforce of around 70 employees.

The mobile klinik, Fix Repair and Handy Doktor brands will remain in place, according to a press release. Marcel Dossenbach will take over its operational management. At the same time, Swiss Mobile’s offering is now aimed at private customers and companies.

“While industry giants such as Swisscom and mobilezone are closing their repair sites, we are focusing on direct contact with our customers,” says Swiss Mobile owner Marijan Andelic. Customers increasingly want to use their smartphones until the end of their maximum service life for reasons of sustainability, he argues. And that makes a repair service necessary. In addition, long waiting times, especially for sending in the devices, are no longer appropriate.

“With the acquisition of mobile klinik, we are utilizing entrepreneurial synergies,” Andelic continues. “We are already expecting an increase in sales of around 20 percent in the coming year.” ce/mm
