Schlieren ZH – Strabag is using a low-emission tracked paver from Vögele in road construction. The construction machine works quietly, produces less exhaust fumes than comparable machines and can be used universally in road construction.

Strabag has been supporting its traffic route construction work with the Super 19500-5(i) paver from Joseph Vögele AG in Ludwigshafen since fall 2023. The construction machine from the world market leader for road pavers, which belongs to the Wirtgen Group, is characterized by its low noise and exhaust emissions, the Schlieren-based construction company has now announced in a press release. Another advantage of the device is its universal applicability, whether for highways, road renovation or new construction. “He masters almost every road construction task,” they say. It is suitable for installation widths of up to 11.5 meters. Its modern and efficient drive system allows it to work quietly and powerfully.

At the inauguration event as part of an open day in Lindau ZH, the paver stood out from the other machines with its “brand new shiny white and clean tracks”. It has proved its worth in several projects, for example in Beringen at Bömmliacker, in Kloten on Dorfstrasse and in Hemishofen on Grabenackerstrasse. Strabag speaks of “a miracle machine” in the press release. “With our super paver, we are building better roads for the future of tomorrow.” ce/heg
