Poschiavo/Landquart GR – The Graubünden-based energy company Repower AG has founded a subsidiary for its e-mobility offering under the name Plug’n Roll AG. Previously, Repower’s activities in this area were already bundled under the brand of the same name.

Poschiavo-based energy company Repower AG has turned the Plug’n Roll platform into its own subsidiary, according to a media release. The newly founded Plug’n Roll AG is wholly owned by Repower. The creation of a separate company for electromobility reinforces Repower AG’s ambition to continue its growth in the field of electric mobility and consolidate its position as a provider of high-quality offerings, the statement said.

The name Plug’n Roll is already known in Switzerland. Repower has been involved in the electromobility sector since 2012. Since 2016, activities in this area have been bundled under the Plug’n Roll “powered by Repower” brand. Now the offer is combined in a separate company based in Landquart.

As a full-service e-mobility provider, Plug’n Roll offers solutions in the real estate, fleet and public charging segments for business customers and end users in the Swiss market, according to Repower’s announcement. The new company has a Swiss charging network that is charged exclusively with green electricity of Naturemade Star quality. Across Europe, Plug’n Roll offers its customers access to over 150,000 charging points, according to the media release. ce/gba
