
Kemptthal ZH/Pouzauges – Planted Foods and French charcuterie expert Fleury Michon are launching three joint products. This combines Planted’s plant-based meats with Fleury Michon’s marinades.
Planted Food has found a new partner in France. The Kemptthal-based start-up, which specializes in plant-based alternatives to meat, is teaming up with Fleure Michon, Planted informs in a statement. According to her, the charcuterie expert from Pouzauges is the second best-selling brand in France. Together, the two companies are launching three products under the name Emincés Végétaux.
Planted contributes its plant-based planted.chicken to the Rôtis, aux Herbes and Epices douces variations. Fleury Michon is responsible for the artisanal marinades. Emincés Végétaux are suitable for a wide range of dishes from salads to quiches, pizzas and other hot dishes.
“We are pleased to enter this exciting category with Planted and to offer our consumers these new plant-based products with the same high quality as our core charcuterie products,” Jean-François Fournier, general manager France at Fleury Michon, is quoted as saying in the release. “With Planted’s expertise in plant-based foods, we can offer our consumers new options that are both healthy, sustainable and tasty.” Already launched at Carrefour and Intermarché, Emincés Végétaux are now available nationwide in France. ce/hs
