Geneva/London – Watch manufacturer ID Genève has a new distribution partner. London-based retailer The Watches of Switzerland Group is launching the first watches sourced from the circular economy in the UK and New York markets.
London-based jewelry and watch retailer The Watches of Switzerland Group(WOS) will take over the distribution of ID Genève watches in the UK and New York. According to a media release, since March 2, trade “of the first watches to come from the circular economy” is organized through selected showrooms in the United Kingdom, New York and online channels. This new partnership, he said, will allow WOS to “offer its customers this innovative brand that reflects the values and principles of a truly sustainable watch brand that respects climate change and social impact on the environment at its core.”
According to the statement, the British company is impressed by the fact that ID Genève’s products are all made from recycled materials. The production of the watches, ID Genève emphasizes, is 100 percent in line with the concept of the circular economy – with recycled materials, a transparent production chain and low emissions. The bracelets are made of organic material and are compostable.
