Zurich – The Sus.lab of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) is looking for ideas for a circular building industry for its Circular Building Industry Innovation Booster incubation program. Interested parties can apply by April 4.

The Circular Building Industry (CBI) Innovation Booster of the ETH-based Sustainability in Business Lab is accepting ideas in the area of circularity in the building industry until April 4. For this third edition of the incubation program, interested parties can apply with products, services, processes and business models that contribute to more circular economy in the Swiss construction industry, according to a media release.

The CBI Innovation Booster provides 20,000 Swiss francs in funding. It offers support to the included projects in the development and elaboration of their ideas. To this end, participants receive methodological and technological impulses from experts as well as access to workshops, conferences and a network of companies, researchers and public institutions. At the so-called Pitch & Enrich workshop on March 9, interested parties can already present their idea and receive initial feedback.

The program is supported by the Swiss Innovation Promotion Agency Innosuisse and managed by Sus.lab at the Chair of Sustainability and Technology at ETH. It aims to “enable the transition to a circular economy in the Swiss construction industry through systemic and collaborative innovation.” ko
