Brunnen SZ – Schwyzer ecocoach AG has found a new partner. The range of applications of their system for the control of energy flows is extended to the optimal use of used battery modules through the cooperation with the Vorarlberg company e.battery systems.
ecocoach AG, based in the canton of Schwyz, has announced its cooperation with e.battery systems on LinkedIn. The company, based in Wolfurt in Vorarlberg, specializes in so-called second-life storage. It has now developed and installed its second-life energy storage system (ESS) for a regional hydropower plant, according to its own release. As a result, it reportedly reduces battery waste by up to 70 percent and optimizes the life cycle of batteries.
The ecoEnergyCoach energy management system (EMS) from ecocoach was also used. “Together with the Munich-based inverter specialist STABL Energy, we have created a technically sophisticated and scalable solution to make used battery modules optimally usable for the transformation to sustainable energy supply,” says the family-owned company from Schwyz. “Three countries, three innovative companies, one solution for a better tomorrow,” ecocoach headlines its message.
By implementing the second-life energy storage systems with renewable energy, “we are moving toward a cleaner, greener and more energy-efficient world for future generations,” e.battery systems says. “We are pleased to work with companies like ecocoach AG, who offer reliable and intuitive EMS, as well as STABL Energy, with their robust and safe inverter systems.” New joint projects would be launched soon. ce/mm
